I am selling my 2009 honda fit sport. It was the consumer reports pick for subcompact cars for several years (including 2009), and a finalist for the motor trend car of the year in 2009. It might not be the fastest thing on the autobahn, but even treating the gas pedal like an on/off switch will result in 30 mpg (we get around 33-35 consistently with mostly in-town driving), and this car redefines the word “spacious”. I have transported everything from full size dressers to 8 (that’s right 8... One's in the passenger's seat) tires that came in at over 28” in diameter each. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that a toyota tacoma couldn’t match up with it’s bed space, and i would be willing to go toe-to-toe with an f-150, and i can still get into a parking deck with room to spare, suckers!! For options, it’s got a few! There’s not a lot of torque steer… mostly due to the lack of torque, but the car handles amazingly for a small, inexpensive hatchback. It has a 271 horsepower, 273 ft-lb of torque, 4. 0 liter, 32 valve, w8, 8 cylinder engine factory installed in a passat wagon with the audi all-wheel-drive system. It has the factory oversized disc brake system, sport suspension, oversized speed rated wheels and tires, and factory recaro leather seats with “guinness” “black and tan” interior (4 winter tires on sport alloy wheels included). Abs and traction control is standard. This particular model is an italian spec car and therefore has no top speed limiter. The cam-effect/non-fastback wagon body shape is also stable at high speeds. Top speed is 270kph/167mph indicated. The car had its transmission rebuilt by gsr of heidelberg 2 years ago. This includes: all new brake linings, rotors, rear calipers, rear brake hoses, rear control arm, front control arm, both front cv axles, all new h&r lowering sport springs (one factory sport spring cracked, so i replaced them all) k&n air filter, new cabin air filter, new knock sensor, recharge on ac refrigerant (no leaks), and recently serviced with factory approved 8 liters of mobil 1 for vw with a new vw filter. Comes with full bentley service manuals 100 new, very useful). It just passed inspection so it will not require re-inspection if registered in 30 days. Mileage is km, but she runs strong, smooth, quiet, and clean. The reason i am selling it is that i will be returning to the u. Car is located at the ramstein resale lot. It is now sporting brand new all-season tires (less than 50 miles), and inspection good till april 2018. We’ve never had to do more than the scheduled maintenance to it for the entire time we’ve owned it. All service is up to date, there are no liens so we can transfer the car immediately. We’ve loved this thing dearly, but with an upcoming move back to the united states, the time has come to let it go.
